November in Santa Clarita has a rhythm to it.

The mornings get crisp. The calendar fills up. And the whole valley starts leaning into the holidays.

Here’s what we have on our calendar this month, and where we think you’ll want to be.

Thursday, Nov. 5: Wine Under the Roof

This one is a grown-up night out for a good cause. Wine Under the Roof returns to the rooftop at Bella Vida, the SCV Senior Center.

You get a happy hour, then a four-course dinner. Each course comes from a different local chef and is paired with wine. There’s live entertainment too.

Tickets are $125 each, or $1,000 for a table. Proceeds benefit the WiSH Foundation, which supports Hart district schools.

Friday, Nov. 6: Día de los Muertos at Teatro Newhall

A bilingual musical theatre production at the Newhall Family Theatre, 7 to 8:30 p.m. A beautiful way to start the month with family.

Wednesday, Nov. 11: Veterans Day Ceremony

The City of Santa Clarita hosts its Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. at Veterans Historical Plaza, 24275 N. Walnut Street in Newhall.

Expect the Changing of the Flags, speakers and live music. If you’ve never gone, go this year. It’s worth the hour.

Saturday, Nov. 14: Jingle Fest ’26

Strawberry & Fig’s Jingle Fest takes over Central Park on Bouquet Canyon Road from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It’s free, family-friendly and billed as the biggest Christmas market around. It’s a great place to start your holiday shopping. Small, local and a lot more fun than a mall parking lot.

Saturday, Nov. 21: Light Up Main Street

This is the big one.

Light Up Main Street turns Old Town Newhall into the official start of the holiday season. This year it runs 4 to 8 p.m. on Main Street.

In past years, the night has included a tree lighting in front of the Old Town Newhall Library, food trucks, live music and a snow zone for the kids. Road closures and free parking were posted ahead of time on OldTownNewhall.com. Check there for this year’s lineup and parking map before you go.

Our tip? Get there early. Grab dinner on Main Street. Stay for the lights.

Sunday, Nov. 22: Candlelight Concerts

The Hyatt Regency Valencia hosts two Candlelight concerts this night: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and The Best of Hans Zimmer. An easy date night that doesn’t require a drive into L.A.

Thursday, Nov. 26: Turkey Trots

Two local races on Thanksgiving morning. One at College of the Canyons, one at Central Park. We break both down in our Turkey Trot post.

Friday, Nov. 27: Holiday in the Park

Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Holiday in the Park season starts Nov. 27 and runs through Jan. 4.

Why this matters to us

We’ve been helping families buy and sell in the Santa Clarita Valley for a long time. And the thing people remember most about living here isn’t the square footage. It’s nights like these.

If you’re thinking about a move, in or out of SCV, we’re always happy to talk it through.
